LUJAN, Joe (Pepe) 96, passed away December 28, 2013. A devoted husband, loving father and brother he was preceded in death by his wife Eva Mendez; his son, Chuckie; siblings, Alberto Rivera, Carlota Contreras, Esperanza Moreno, and Adelina Islas. He is survived by his brother, Raul Lujan; his sons, Joe (Scarlet), Richard (Iben); daughter, Marti DeMore (Bob); six grandsons, three granddaughters, four great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. Pepe worked as a cabinet maker his entire working life and was a master of his trade. He always took great pride in his work doing the best job possible. Pepe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and many friends. Services will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5150 N Valley View Rd, 85718. Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Mass at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family invites memorial donations to Peppi's House (TMC Hospice), 2715 N. Wyatt, Tucson 85712 or the charity of your choice.
