BROWN, John Harry, 88, of Tucson died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Thelma Brown. Survived by close friends, Dave and Georgene Foust. John graduated from Tucson High School in 1942 and served in the US Navy immediately following graduation until December of 1945. He piloted landing crafts in over ten landings from Guadalcanal to Iwo Jima suffering through eight air attacks and enemy shellings on the beaches. John was such a kind and gentle man with a terrific sense of humor. May he rest in peace. At John's request, no services will be held.
