John Wheelock

John C. Wheelock, 77, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away June 17, 2015 at Tucson Medical Center with family members at his sides. He was born July 23, 1937 in Adrian, Michigan. John was a 4-year graduate from Howe Military Academy in Howe, Indiana. He was a member of the forensic League and was Captain of the tennis team his senior year. John was retired from various sales positions in Tucson and parts of Michigan. He was active in his church, Faith Lutheran, and was involved in many civic organizations including the Optimists, VFW and Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey and Michelle of Ohio and brothers Charles of Houston, James of Tucson, and William (Mary) of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Wheelock and daughter Tina (Wheelock) Murphey. In lieu of flowers and in memory of John, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church 3925 East 5th Street Tucson, Az 85711 Arrangements entrusted to the Adair Funeral Homes & El Encanto Memorial Crematory, Inc.
