SCHIFANO, Joseph Sr., age 86, entered into eternal life on September 5, 2017. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ana, and his parents, Isadore and Vita Schifano. He is survived by his two sons, Isadore (Lisa) and Joe (Pam); his four grandchildren, Anthony, Adam, Stephanie and Alyssa, and brother, Msgr. While stationed in Okinawa, he formed an off duty band called the Rhythm Kings which performed many gigs for the USO. Subsequently, he graduated from the University of Arizona. He was a fierce Wildcat fan! He then went on to own an international seafood brokerage company. He had a lifelong passion for music and beautifully played the piano by ear. In the last several years, he began a band, Tre Amici. He also volunteered at the Veterans Administration for several years playing piano for all to enjoy. He was awarded the gold, silver and bronze medals from the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. He was very proud of these achievements. Joe will be remembered for his love of family, music, country and friends and he will be greatly missed but we know he is playing the piano for all to enjoy in heaven.
