SMITH, Larry Allen, 68, passed away at his home in Tucson on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Larry was born September 21, 1944 in Kane, PA to Dorothy Smith and the late George Smith. He was a devoted and loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Larry was retired Air Force with over 20 years of service to his country. Larry is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melinda; mother, Dorothy; sons, Brian and Steve of San Tan Valley, AZ; son, George of Florence, AZ; grandchildren, Armando and Cody; stepchildren, John Field of Tucson, Debra and Earl Ray of Edmond, OK, Michael and Mickey Field of Riddle, OR as well as eight grandchildren, two great-grandsons and numerous nephews and nieces. A Visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The Visitation will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Oro Valley, AZ 85704. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 8650 North Shannon Road, Tucson, AZ 85742. The Mass will be followed by a graveside service at the Marana Cemetery located at 12146 W. Barnett Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Casa de la Luz Hospice at 7740 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704.
