She worked for Dr. Ernest J. Sayre for over 25 years as his receptionist. In 1980, the family became citizens of the United States of America. Laura loved her family. She loved to entertain and host parties at her home. Her greatest joy was to cook for her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Christ Presbyterian Church for thirty-seven years. Laura Samoy will be remembered, as a woman of faith who gave herself to the service of the Lord and who deeply loved her family and friends. She lived Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Laura was very generous. She believed the more you gave, the more you received. In her honor, please continue this legacy and love all those you meet. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Christ Presbyterian Church. Laura Samoy’s Memorial Service will be held this Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Christ Presbyterian Church 6565 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85710.
