DELUCIA, Lawrence Alfred, 94, of Tucson, passed away on April 12, 2017 in Tucson, AZ. He was born on January 20, 1923 to Agostino and Mary (Petti) DeLucia in the Bronx, NY. He attended school in the Bronx, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his PhD from the Universty of Arizona. Larry was a professor of economics and skilled arbitrator. He taught for eight years at the University of Arizona, and ten years at SUNY Oswego. On September 4, 1951, he married Florence, Larry and Florence lived in Tucson, AZ for 40 years. He was an avid bridge player, and when asked, always gave financial advice. His interest in politics was well known. Larry is survived by his loving spouse of 65 years, Florence; son, Lawrence Devereux Lucas DeLucia of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father, Agostino DeLucia; mother, Mary DeLucia. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Tucson, AZ, with Pastor Steve Main, officiating.
