Lisa Vercillo a native Tucsonan, was born September 16, 1966, to Orlando and Rosemarie Vercillo, both who have preceded her in death. After a long struggle with cancer, Lisa passed away peacefully on April 6, 2013, surrounded by the love of family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Debra); sister, Donna (Randy) Hemmings; brother, Chris (Helen); nieces, Loni, Jolene and Shayna; nephews, Wayne, Kevin and Bryce; grandnephew, Andrew; uncles, Richie and Ron; aunt, Carol, and numerous cousins. Especially important to her were: her dearest friend of 27 years, Daureen Pepiot and her loving family; the love of her life, Matt Dugdale, his supportive parents, Rita and Al and their loving family; her cats whom she lovingly adored, Spout, Mystic and Sylvester; her extended and supportive family at Pantano Animal Clinic where she "lived" to work; her church family at Christ Community Church where she found faith, love and acceptance. God has Lisa in his keeping; we have her in our hearts. Her final days were blessed with kindness through the care at Peppi's House. A gathering to remember Lisa will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2013, at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Dr., Tucson.
