SMITH, Lucille passed away January 20, 2016. She was born on a farm outside of Stilesville, Indiana to Claude and Margaret Johnson on December 18, 1921. Lucille married Robert Smith in 1955 and they moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1956 to be near her ailing sister, Mary Medsker. Lucille loved the southwest, anything turquoise, our sunsets, and swimming. Lucille's husband and six siblings preceded her in death. As a child she sang in a trio with two of her sisters, Ruth and Mary, in their church and at the monthly county farmer co-op meetings. Lucille loved dancing and traveling, and if there was Dixieland Jazz or Big Band music included, then that was icing on the cake. She was a loving wife and aunt. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside Services are scheduled at Eastlawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd, Tucson, Arizona on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
