Manuel Aguilar

Manuel (Manny) Aguilar On Saturday May 18, 1991, a star was born. It was on that day that Manuel Aguilar made his brilliant entrance into the world, and into the hearts and lives of his beloved mother, Marina Aguilar, and host of loved ones. Manny was a wonderful child, and it was as early as 1st grade that his compassion for people, his passionate love for sports, and his amazing athletic talents became visible. This continued through-out middle school and into high school. During his tenure at Sunnyside High School, Manny received numerous awards and trophies (to include multiple MVP and "Player of the Week" awards). As a result of his exceptional athletic skills, charming personality, and beautiful spirit, Manny developed many life-long friends. His love for family and friends was evident in every turn of his life, with his brilliant light touching the lives of so many leaving a legacy of commitment for all to feel in his absence. Manny graduated from Sunnyside High School in 2009 and attended Eastern Arizona College for a period of time. Upon his untimely death, he was employed with Freeport Mines in Morenci, Arizona. On Monday June 25, 2012 Manny's light was added to the host of Heaven. You're going to be greatly missed son. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores Vega, Gustavo Perez and George Nunley, he leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Marina Aguilar; his father, Manny Nunley (Raven); step-father, Paul Vega; grandparents, Armando and Evelyn Aguilar, Bertha Perez, Cecilia Inigo, Maria Nunley and Steve Vega Sr.; brother, Jesus Vega; sisters, Jensina and Dominica Nunley; godparents, Karina Echanove and Raul Vega; girl-friend, Christina Fernandez, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too many to name.
