Marilyn Jeanette Rinehart Obituary

Marilyn Jeanette (Plank) Rinehart was born to Martha (Rudy) and Raymond Plank on September 30, 1926 and died on March 13, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carroll Rinehart; her three children, Kathryn (Robert) Mitchell, Cynthia Rinehart and Steve Rinehart; brother, Dave Plank; two grandchildren and one great- grandchild. She was a church organist in Tucson for 18 years at First United Methodist Church, seven years at Catalina United Methodist Church, and was a composer of organ and choral works. After graduating from Ashland College (Ohio), she did advanced studies at the University of Arizona. She was a member of the American Guild of Organists and a long time volunteer at the Community Food Bank. Interment and Services will be in Ohio. In her memory, on a date to be determined, there will be a concert of her organ and choral works. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's name to the Community Food Bank or to KUAT.
