Marlin White

WHITE, Marlin Dean "Whitey" 69, of Minden, NV, passed away on October 23, 2017. Marlin was born on February 24, 1948, in Vermillion, SD. Whitey attended the UofA, served in the US Navy and the US Army. Marlin proudly served the Tucson community as a Police Officer for TPD for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Teri; his brothers, Randy of Oregon and Brian of Gardnerville; his sister-in-law, Shannon Caraway (Paul); his children, Tina Walker (Omari) of Mansfield, MA, Christopher White, Perry White, and Michelle Carrick (Tim) all of Tucson. Marlin also leaves eight grandchildren, the Walker children, Briena, Derrion, Daenin, Britiah, Brailee and Davaughn and the Carrick children, Aimee and Jason; along with a large loving extended family and countless friends. The Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Saturday, November 18, 2017; interment to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, and reception at LaQuinta Reid Park. Donations may be made in Marlin's name in honor of his son-in-law and Retinitis Pigmentosa, to Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Attn. Melissa Paul, 243 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114, designated to Dr. Eric Pierce-Ocular Genomics Lab. Arrangements are entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
