Marvin Kemp

KEMP, Marvin Lee, was born on August 4, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona to the union of Leroy and Magnolia Kemp. He was one of six children. He attended Cavett Elementary School, Utterback Middle School, and graduated from Pueblo High School. He was active in sports, participated in track and football. He attended Central Arizona College, where he continued his academic and athletic career. He was employed as a groundskeeper for Pima Community College for many years. Marvin passed from this life on October 8, 2012 at the age of 52. His mother, Magnolia Kemp preceded him in death. Marvin leaves to cherish his memory his father, Leroy Kemp; his loving wife, Patricia; two daughters, Amber and Kayla; four sisters, Flo Starlin, Earlean Davis, Linda Minter, Lisa (Tori) Carney; one brother, Leroy Kemp Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Joselyn Kemp and Sonja Batson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends! Services will be held at Greater South Park Church of God in Christ, 2419 S. Park Avenue, Tucson, AZ on Monday October 15, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
