Mary Lo Maglio

Mary Carmella Lo Maglio born in Rochester, N.Y. in 1918. Graduated from the Genesee Hospital of Nursing in 1940. She married her next door neighbor Samuel in 1943. She traveled and lived in the South during the war with Sam and her first born, Joseph. In 1947 she then moved to Tucson with her new family including an infant, Francine. Our mom first worked at St. Mary's Hospital in the early 50's where she gave birth to Louise and Sam. She worked at TMC in the open courts (Papago & Moqui) and lastly at St. Joseph's Hosp. in the early 60's. Preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Luigina Crino; sister, Madeline Puma and daughter, Louise Denman and most recently her husband, Samuel. Mary is survived by her brothers, Pat (Betty) and Michael (Billie) Crino; sons, Joseph and Samuel (Sandi) Lo Maglio and daughter, Francine (Frank) De Leon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Joseph, Lourdes, Marta, Anthony, Leanne, Shapri and Shanell; four great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel. On Thursday, May 31, 2012, a graveside will be held at Southlawn Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. Donations can be made to The Gideons Society. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
