Maurice Samaan

Maurice N. Samaan of Oro Valley passed away on June 29, 2012. He was born in Cairo, Egypt on December 14, 1936. Cherished husband of Genevieve (Jane) Samaan (nee Juffras). Loving uncle of Robert and Ann Marie Juffras. Dear granduncle of William, Megan, Alexander and Madeline Juffras. Loving brother-in-law to Mimi Samaan and uncle to Caroline Samaan and Christine Armstrong. He loved his family and friends and they loved him. For many years Maurice was employed by the US Agency for International Development as an Agricultural Project Leader. He lived in and worked in many countries in Africa, Asia and South America throughout his career. He will be greatly missed. Visitation at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Oro Valley, Thursday, July 5, 2012, 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Services will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5150 N. Valley View Road, Tucson, Friday, July 6, 2012 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at the Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson.
