DOVE, Miriam, passed away on December 29, 2012. She was born on November 3, 1924 in the Bronx, NY. She grew up in the Bronx and graduated from Hunter College in New York City. In 1952 she traveled to Tucson to visit a cousin. During her visit she met a man who had recently moved to Tucson, Dr. Earle Dove. Coincidently, the two grew up within several miles of each other in Bronx without meeting. Miriam never returned to New York to live, she married Earle on July 3, 1953 and they spent the rest of their lives in Tucson. In Tucson, she worked as a bookkeeper at a small accounting firm and then as a bookkeeper and receptionist in Earle's dental office. They had two sons, Lewis and Ron. Miriam and Earle were inseparable during their 57 years of marriage until Earle passed away 18 months ago. Miriam was a wonderful person and loving wife. Like Earle, she was an extremely supportive parent, serving as a solid role-model to her boys and later in her life as a great friend. Miriam is survived by her loving family: son, Lewis; daughter-in-law, Raleigh and grandsons, Jeremy and Zachary (Monument, CO) and son, Ron and daughter-in-law, Kim (Vail, AZ).
