Myron Dale Herd born August 20, 1926, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jareldean; his daughters, Trudy (Dan) Gildea, Debbie (Jerry) VanAsdlan, Marsha Kinkade and Dana Garigan; his grandchildren, Jared (Jill) VanAsdlan, Erin (Lucas) Scott, Taylor (RJ) Bergman, Michael (Star) Gildea and Celeste (John) Sherry and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lennis and Alberta Herd. He was the oldest of nine children. Myron served in the Army from 1944-1968. He fought in World War II and the Korean Wars. Myron retired in 1968 as a Master Sergeant. Myron was a wonderful father and grandpa. He will be greatly missed. The family wants to extend a special thanks to Marylou and Dena at Searles Care Home.
