Myrtle Hartmann

Myrtle Hartmann 96, was called to heaven Saturday, February 28, 2015 while at the home of her daughter, with family by her side. Myrtle was born October 31, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Louis and Elsie Kohler. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Harold Hartmann on October 2, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death March 14, 2014. They were married for 76 blissful years. After the birth of their youngest daughter in 1953, they moved to Tucson. She worked as a secretary for her father at Paul Revere Life Insurance where he was a Senior Agent, for a short time, and was active in Jobs Daughters and Daughters of the Nile. Her interests included family, gardening, sewing and cooking. She devoted most of her time and energy as mentor and caregiver to members of her family, right up to the time of her passing. She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Abbott (Ron) of Tucson, Myrtle Edmiston (Bob) of Santa Rosa, California, Sharon Woolridge (Steve) of Tucson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church 1220 W. Magee Road, Tucson, Arizona. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel .
