Neil Burbank Tucson, Arizona Obituary

Neil Burbank

BURBANK, Neil Robert, Tucson, passed into heaven on August 15, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to the late Genevieve and Jimmie Burbank on May 7, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. Neil grew up in Benson, MN where he graduated from high school. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Neil served four years in the Air Force, including one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a loving husband and father to his wife, Carol and their daughter, Corrine. He is survived by three sisters and one brother, Dianne Wilgen (John) of TN, Alane Silver (Ken) of PA, Lynn Burbank (Michael) of MN and Dave Burbank (Sherrie) of MN. Neil loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and reading. Many of us will always remember Neil's quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor even when dealing with illness and pain. We miss him very much. If you wish to honor his memory, donations can be made to the University of Arizona Cancer Center or the Human Society of Southern Arizona. Private Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
