Patricia Hull Greer departed this life at Northwest Medical Center on July 5, 2012 in the company of her beloved husband of 55 years, William E. Greer III, and her daughters, Helen Gex Greer of Tucson and Diana Greer Clark of San Diego. She also left behind two loving granddaughters, Ashley and Danielle Clark of San Diego; her brother, Frank W. Hull, MD and his wife Kashy of Fairfield, CA; several nieces and nephews and their families, and a number of dear friends of many years. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman Sterling Hull and Pauline Kitt Hull of Tucson; uncle, Stanley Kitt Hull, MD, of Tucson; brother, Stanley Kitt Hull of Anaheim, CA and daughter, Mary Charlotte Greer. Patricia was born December 20, 1932 in Tucson and grew up in Phoenix. She graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1950 and attended the University of Arizona, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. An avid horsewomen growing up, Patricia was named All Around Cowgirl at the University of Arizona rodeo her senior year in college on her horse Sugar. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Education in 1954, Patricia accepted a teaching position with the San Diego School District. While living in San Diego, she met the love of her life, Bill Greer, on a blind date. Patricia and Bill were married April 13, 1956 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tucson. From 1957 to 1980, Patricia and Bill live in a variety of locations, including San Diego, CA; Monterey, CA Oceana and Little Creek, VA and Pear Harbor, HI as Bill pursued his career as a fighter pilot and naval officer with the U.S. Navy. A fun loving and kind person, Patricia was a wonderful naval officer wife and devoted mother to her daughters. In addition to her familial duties, she was a talented artist who also loved tennis, animals and travel. Upon Bill's retirement from the Navy in 1980, Patricia and Bill settled in Tucson where they enjoyed 32 years together renewing old friendships and making new ones. It is with great sadness that all of her family and friends say goodbye and wish her well on her future journeys.
