Richard Charter Obituary

CHARTER, Richard L., retired estimator, entered into this world December 18, 1947. Lived a life he mostly wanted, cared much for his family and friends. A high school basketball star and a loyal University of Arizona Wildcat fan. Rick was the best father he could be to a son that he loved dearly, a son that loved his parents, a brother that was also a friend, and a friend that would understand no matter what you did or said. Rick left this world to be free from his pain on March 8, 2011. Preceded in death by his father, H.C. Charter and mother, Bette Charter. Survived by an only son, Jeremy Charter of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Greg Charter (Trish) of Show Low, AZ and California, Mick Charter (Jody) of Tucson, AZ and sister, Sandy (Al) of Boise, ID; several nieces and nephews in Arizona and Idaho. When you are made to say see you later without knowing when the later might be, you start to think why you didn't see as much of each other when we did have that knowledge; to my father who I truly loved and cared for, but waited too long to make sure you knew it. Rick was a good man, and will be missed by many. Gone but will never be forgotten. Please join Rick's family in a celebration of his life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Orange Grove Estates recreation center, 3635 W. Mangrove (Orange Grove just east of Thornydale).
