Robert C. Aros, Tucson, AZ August 4, 1946 Our Father, Robert Corrales Aros, 70, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 30, 2017. He was a graduate of Pueblo High School and worked in many capacities for the Tucson Unified School District before retiring. He was an avid bicyclist and connoisseur of music. A natural born drummer, he had an amazing ear for music that helped him emerge into the Tucson music scene while he was still in high school. He began his career with The Invaders and later went on to play with various bands including Gilberto Felix y Sus Conquistadores, The Lalo Robles Orchestra, The Uchi Hernadez Orchestra, Los Unicos, The Poor Boys and a lengthy list of others. He was a devoted son, father, amazing brother and uncle; A faithful son of God who blessed those closest to him with the word of the lord, his favorite music and his abundance of love and laughter. He lived everyday of this life to the fullest and truly believed that “Time is not measured by clocks but by moments.” He is preceded in death by his Mother Mary C. Herrera, Father, Robert Aros, Brother Francisco Aros and Sisters Nina Herrera and Carmen Aros. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Aros, Francisca Aros, Angelica (Javier) Aros, LaShawn (Edward) Aros and Sons Paul Howard Sr. and Gilbert Howard, 18 grand children and 7 great grand children. A mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. Immediately following the mass the family will be gathering for a celebration of his life at Ormsby Park.
