Robert Dent

DENT, Robert E., 72, beloved father, grandfather and great- grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on September 3, 2011 after a long bout with cancer. Bob was a resident of Tucson for 41 years. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 26 years, Patricia A. Dent (Murphy) who was a native Tucsonian. He is survived by his children, Michelle Roberts, Lori Hanson (Charlotte Grasso) and Robyn (Dan) Paulsen; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Darci, Jamie, Stacy, Jason, Cole and Austin and five great-grandchildren. He worked at Montgomery Wards for 36+ years in retail sales and management. His attention to detail and his charismatic personality was a major part of his success in achieving several awards. His passion for life included Western scene paintings, landscaping, cooking and old cars. He was the proud owner of a 1965 Pontiac LeMans. He was a member of the National Pontiac-Oakland Car Club for several years. He was also a blood donor through American Red Cross. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, September 9, 2011. The Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m. with Service at 2:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N.
