Rozanne Wilson Tucson, Arizona Obituary

Rozanne Wilson

Rozanne "Rho" Wilson 8/21/1923 - 1/18/2011 Rho Wilson was born in Seattle, WA and passed away in Tucson, AZ at 87 years old. Rho lived in Seattle, left college to work assisting the Navy during WWII and married John Wilson, a sailor. John and Rho moved to Modesto, CA in 1957. She raised her family in Modesto, Chandler and Heide. She worked tirelessly helping Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and all her children's activities. She touched many young women in her Scout troops, and always called them "her girls". Rho was on the Executive Board and Building Committee and was Vice-President of Muir Trail Girl Scout Council, and led a trip for a bus full of High School Scouts to Wyoming for a three week summer adventure. She is survived by her daughter, Heide Wilson; daughters-in-law, Debbie Doucette and Barbara Wilson; nieces, Phyllis Smith, Susan Riggs, Mary Porter and nephew, Tom Brown and all their children. John and Rho loved the RV lifestyle, starting with a small trailer, then a 5th wheel, and up to a motor home when they retired. They found the Voyager RV Resort and loved the family atmosphere here, so came every winter for years. They eventually bought a Park Model at Voyager, then a home in the Cove when they moved to Tucson full time in 2002. Life treated Rho and John well, so they tried to be good friends and give back to others along the way. No public memorials are planned, and in lieu of flowers, send a memorial donation to Tucson Medical Center Hospice, 5301 Grant Road, Tucson, AZ, because they are all angels there who made her passing peaceful for her and her family. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
