Ruth (Pat) Springstead born September 11, 1923 and died February 1, 2011. She met Jarvis (Jerry) Springstead at Northwestern University. They married in 1944 and moved to Tucson in 1961. Pat worked at the Tucson Public Library for 21 years. The family traveled the U.S. visiting many National Parks and Monuments. Upon retirement Pat and Jerry continued their travels, showing dogs in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. They enjoyed exploring the Southwest. Pat was artistically talented and expressed this through drawing, sewing and making jewelry. Her interests included reading, orchids, and trains. She was a fan of Wildcats basketball. She is survived by her husband; three children, Suzanne, Richard and Dianne; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements handled by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, DODGE CHAPEL
