Sally Komerska

Sally Komerska Born December 16, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to Helmer and Esther Kestila and passed away May 4, 2012. She is survived by her son Steve. Sally came to Tucson from Pennsylvania on suggestion of her doctors, due to the onset of rheumatoid arthritis at age 16. She married Robert Komerska on August 19, 1955. She received Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Microbiology from the University of Arizona. She worked at Thomas-Davis clinic as their chief Microbiologist for over two decades. She enjoyed travel and the colorful artwork of the Indian nations of the Southwestern United States and nomadic peoples of central Asia. We will celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd.
