Walter Alois Bruckmeier, Sr. 81, of Tucson a retired expert carpenter and God's faithful servant was called to be with our Lord and Savior on September 1, 2011. He was married to the love of his life, Mary, for 58 years. Leaving a legacy of 10 children; Mary Frances, John, Walter (Diane), Tom (Melissa), Theresa Perri (Rick), Rose Mary Strom, Catherine Pitz (Mike), Angela Marek (Olaf), Dorothy Cook (William), Anthony (Josefina); 31 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Bruckmeier (Janice); and a sister, Mary Ann Yates (Bob). Walter was a member of St. Ambrose Parish as a Eucharistic minister and parish council for many years. He was an avid reader and always the practical joker, he will be truly missed by all! Services will be at St. Ambrose Church Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME.
