William Rickelman Obituary

William Francis Rickelman After waging a courageous battle with cancer, William passed away on New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012. His loving wife, Clotilde was at his side. William was born in Maywood, IL, on September 27, 1928. In 1960, he earned his law degree from DePaul University in Chicago. He loved the law, and dedicated himself to its practice for many years. Upon his retirement, and subsequent move to Tucson, William volunteered with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Through the Department of Migrant and Refugee Services, William taught ESL to refugees from around the world. He loved the English language and took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge. In addition to Clotilde, William is survived by seven sons and a daughter. They are Richard (Donna); Raymond (DeDe); Robert (Patricia); Keith (Anne); Kurt (Hollie); Kevin (Julie); Kerry (Mags) and Kathy (Willie) Valenzuela. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, three sisters, Ann (Ray) Peters; Rita (Jim) Beaumont and Barbara T. Beacock; as well as several loving neices and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini 3201 E. Presidio, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul c/o St. Francis Cabrini. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, DODGE CHAPEL.
