William Ross

William "Billy" Harris Ross went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2011, two days after his 60th birthday. He had suffered for many years in poor health and is now pain and stress free. For that we are grateful but he will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends. Billy was born at TMC July 7, 1952 and was a lifelong resident of Tucson and staunch supporter of the Tucson Rod and Gun Club. He loved fishing and hunting with his father, Jack Ross and family and loved fishing at San Carlos Lake. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Ross; his mother, Helen Ross and his brother, John Ross. He is survived by his sister, Sherry Ross Byoff; a daughter, Jenell Thomas; two granddaughters, Faith and Tiffany Thomas and a stepson, David Garcia; a nephew, Stephen Ross Riker and a niece, Heather Lynn Gamble. Billy was the beloved great-uncle of Jacquelyn Marino and Denise Riker. His Memorial will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel. All who knew Billy are invited to come.
