Kathy Lindell

Kathy Lindell, Tucson, passed away at her home on August 4, 2017 at the age of 66. She had just recently moved back to Arizona from Wisconsin to enjoy the year round sunshine and warmth. Kathy was born in Appleton Wisconsin on August 20, 1950. She graduated from Appleton East high school. On September 15, 1977 she married Vern Kassube in Phoenix Arizona. Together they lived in Tucson Arizona until his death on December 30 1989. She then moved back to Wisconsin and later married Gary Lindell on June 29, 1996. They lived together Appleton until his death on May 25, 2011. Over the course of her life she worked as a bookkeeper in both Arizona and Wisconsin before retiring from Menasha Utilities in 2007. Kathy enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, decorating her home and going to the casino.Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her three dogs, Toby, Tia and Nicki and her grandchild, Tyler. Kathy was preceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Moon and her sister Beverly Niec. Kathy is survived by her son Bryan (Adina) Kassube of Appleton Wisconsin. Sister Judi (Bart) Ziewacz of Black Creek Wisconsin. Brother Jim (Diane) Moon of Shawano Wisconsin. Grandchild Tyler Kassube, Appleton Wisconsin. Step children from her first marriage, David (Janice) Kassube, Keith (Carol) Kassube and Kristi (Dean) Watters. Step children from her second marriage Justin Lindell, Jacob Lindell and Katrina Lindell. Also Many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren that loved her dearly. A special thank you to her life long friends Betty Ann Garrett and Tom Williams for their help during Kathy's fight with cancer. It was Kathy's wishes to be cremated with no services. Condolences can be sent to the Desert Sunset Funeral Home. Kathy lived every day of her life to the fullest and will be deeply missed and loved by family and friends.
