David Ray Benge, 75, of Alma, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in his home. He as retired from Burlington Railroad, owner/operator of several auto parts stores and attended Glendale Baptist Church in Booneville. He was born and raised in Booneville and a former resident of Greenwood. He was born February 25, 1944 in Tyler, TX to the late Bill and Christine (Langham) Benge. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Otis and LG Goff and Clarence Benge. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday November 25, 2019 at Ocker Chapel with interment in U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include wife, Carol Benge of the home; sons, Chris Benge and wife Leslie of Paris, Brian Lovelady and wife Tasha of Alma and Mark Lovelady of Van Buren; daughters, Tammy Bombard and husband Tim of MA and Brenda Lovelady of AR; sisters, Darlene Goff of AZ and June Goff of Ft. Smith; brothers, Deverl Goff of San Diego, CA and Dalen Goff of Lowell; Aunt, Jane Sharp of Wichita, KS and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Benge, Brian Lovelady, Kaden Benge, Cody Lovelady, David Boster and Zachary Scarborough.
