Albert "Doc" Duvall

Albert J. “Doc” Duvall, 82, of Atkins, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born in Atkins November 14, 1928 the son of Adam and Alva Adams Duvall. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Jewel Duvall and Joyce Duvall; a son, Billy Joe Duvall; a son-in-law, Keith Cotner; a brother, J. A. Duvall; and a sister, Ocie Brown. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robby Duvall, Jimmy and Beverly Duvall, and Alice Duvall all of Atkins; two daughters, Rebecca Duvall Cotner of Pottsville and Wanda Pope of Atkins; grandchildren, Jessie Eaton, Kenneth Duvall, Michael Duvall, James Duvall, Charlotte McNutt, Logan Pope, Joe Cotner, Brittney Duvall, Dylan Duvall, Gracie Duvall; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and three brothers, Charles Duvall of Atkins, Forrest Duvall of Pottsville and Lamar Duvall of Conway. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 22 at St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. J.C. Kinder and Rev. Fred Goates officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Thursday. Pallbearers are Kenneth Duvall, James Duvall, Michael Duvall, Jessie Eaton, James Eaton and Dylan Duvall. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Pope, Eric Duvall, Jordan Duvall and Joe Cotner.
