Amanda Waldo

Amanda Waldo, 91, of Russellville, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 5, 2014, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born February 12, 1923, in Augsburg Community, Arkansas , daughter of the late Antone and Freda Sudmeyer Rietzke. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garland Waldo, daughter, Norma Jean Waldo, 2 brothers and 3 sisters . She is survived by 2 sons, Glenn Waldo and wife Pam of Conway, Troy Waldo and wife Kay of Pottsville, 2 daughters, Linda Cochran and husband Charles of London, Donna Kemp and husband Freddy of Holiday Island, AR. ,4 grandchildren, Audra Prince and husband Kaleb, Jason Hurst and fiancee Emily, Wesley Waldo and Adam Waldo, 3 great grandchildren, Elliott Prince, Jason Prince, and Grace Ann Joiner, sister, Mabel Nordin of Russellville, sister-in-law, Geniece Rietzke of London. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, September 8, 2014, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Steve Mosley officiating. Burial is at Mt. Carmel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation starting at 1:00 pm Monday prior to funeral service. Pallbearers are David Nordin, Paul Nordin, Alvin Drittler, Jimmy Rietzke, Kenneth Cochran and Larry Cochran. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Hurst, Wesley Waldo, Adam Waldo, Kaleb Prince, Jason Prince.
