Archie Wayne Brewer, 67, of Russellville, departed this life Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home. He was born January 2, 1944, in Leachville, Arkansas the son of Clyde David and Marie Kinder Brewer. He was an accomplished musician and was a member of the Pottsville Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, James Mark Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Willett Brewer; two sons, Allen Wayne Brewer and Jackie Ray Brewer, both of Russellville; a daughter, Tammy Renee Brewer Robberson of Russellville; five grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Brewer Castro of Pottsville, Anthony Ray Brewer of Russellville, Krystal Renae Robberson Turner of Dover, Amber Gail Brewer of Russellville, and Cassity Lanae Brewer of Pottsville; two great-grandchildren, Logan James Castro and Taylor Ranae Turner; three brothers, Charles David Brewer of Pottsville, James Roland Brewer of Fenton, Michigan and Harvey Dwayne Brewer of Flint, Michigan; and two sisters, Helen Geniece Brewer McGee of Russellville and Betty Ann Brewer Cook of Alread. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 10 at Pottsville Assembly of God Church. Burial is in Pisgah Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Pottsville Assembly of God.
