Archie C. York, 84, of Cleveland, Arkansas, died February 5, 2008, at his home. He was born October 8, 1923, in England, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Harrell and Agnes Davis York. He was a 20 year veteran of Army Air corps and a POW. After his service in the military, he served for 50 years as an Assembly of God Minister. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Frances York; two brothers, Norman and Kenneth York, a son, Coleman Lee York and a granddaughter, Ada Michaele Cook. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Cook of Appleton; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Betty York of Pottsville, Ricky and Cyndi York of Cleveland, a brother, Bobby York of Houston, Texas; 3 sisters, Norma Jean Hilliard of Cabot, Elizabeth Johnson of Perryville, Helen Wagner of Waynesville, MO; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 9, 2008, at *Lemley Funeral Chapel in Atkins* with Rev. Charles Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday. *Due to power outages at the Church, the funeral has been moved to our Chapel*
