Audra E. Powers, 87, of Atkins, went to be with the Lord November 16, 2012, in Atkins. She was born April 8, 1925, in Oak Grove, the daughter of the late William Chester and Alice Venable Johnson. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Powers; brother, Dolan Johnson; sister, Betty Powers; and 4 brothers-in-law, Jack Powers, Hollie Rackley, Joe D. Baker and Don Burris. She is survived by 2 brothers, Dalton and wife Shirley Johnson, and Don and wife Wilma Johnson; and 4 sisters, Lorene Rackley, Nona Baker, Wilma Burris and Glenda and husband Bill Duvall. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday. Pallbearers are Brian Johnson, Eric Duvall, Wesley Duvall, Stephen Duvall, Dennis Condley and Jerry Burris.
