Axl Gray

Axl Joseph Gray, infant son of Danielle Hudson and Tyler Gray, was born and passed peacefully during delivery on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton, Florida. He weighed 12.4 ounces and was 10 inches long. He was preceded in death by two pawpaws, Joe Gray and Ellis Whitted. He is survived by his parents; 2 sisters, Kali and Ada; great-grandparents, Charles Hudson and wife Doris, and Junior Gray and wife Shirley; grandmothers, Melinda Whitted and Tammie Gray; aunt and uncles, Kristen and husband Brandon Rhodes, and Chase Herring; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Lemley Chapel in Atkins. The family would like to thank the staff of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with a special thanks to Dr. Diana Decutis-Smith and nurses Jessie Robbins and Bethany Harley for their compassion and support. “When someone comes into our lives and they are too quietly and quickly gone, they leave a footprint on our hearts… and their memory stays with us forever.” – Mommy and Daddy love you, forever and ever.
