Barbara Elaine Lemley, 57, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville after a long, hard battle with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. She was born February 17, 1960, in Little Rock, daughter of Bobby Lane and LauVane Dixon Pitts. Barbara was a Real Estate Agent and retired from Century 21, McWaters Realty in Blytheville. She previously worked for a number of years at River Valley Bone and Joint Clinic and Williams Lowrey Clinic in Russellville. She was a graduate of Atkins High School where she played basketball, was a cheerleader, and a member of the Beta Club and National Honors Society, and attended Arkansas Tech University. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Baptist faith. Barbara was a wonderful cook of Southern flair, and loved to play her keyboard and sing. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and collecting 50’s glassware.
She is survived by her parents; two daughters, Robyn Lemley Satterfield and Amber Nichole Lemley Noll; sisters, Sherri and husband Mike Coffman, and Robbi and husband Gerald Fuller; brother, David Pitts and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Mikayla Lemley, Nickolas Lemley, Brennan Satterfield, Kynzie Noll and Zaylie Noll; and great-grandchildren, Kaysen Lemley and Parker Satterfield.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Lemley Chapel with Dr. Ferrel Duffel officiating. Burial is private in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Coffman, Jeff Bayless, David Pitts, and members of the Faith Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Atkins First Baptist Church.
