Bertie Gregory, 72, of Atkins, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born in Wynne on April 4, 1938, the daughter of Anderson and Onva Lou Skaggs Burns. She worked many years at the Cotton Mill in Morrilton. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gladys Jewell Thomas; and four brothers, James Roscoe Burns, Dewey Burns, Paul Burns and Johnny Burns. She is survived by her husband, Hansel Gregory of Atkins; a daughter, Clara Jane Rutherford of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Stormie Winter Rutherford and Eli Jacob Rockett; a brother, Odell Burns; and two sisters, Trudy Lee Bartlett and Dellie Marie Davis. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29 at Lemley Chapel in Atkins with the Rev. B.J. Duvall officiating.
