Betty Jo Witcomb

Betty Jo Witcomb, 77, of Hector, died Tuesday, July 27, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born January 9, 1933, the daughter of Henry Millus and Ora Lee Robinette Tripp. She was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert H. Witcomb; three brothers, Elvin (Bob) Tripp, Thomas Arvil Tripp and Millus Lee Tripp. She is survived by two sons; Robert Witcomb and wife Jill, and Thomas Witcomb and Bridgett; brother, Carl Tripp Appleton; sisters, Ruth Byford of Pineville, LA, Billie Shank of Las Vegas, NV, Grace Walker of Camden and Mickey Donohue of Harrison; grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Ashley, Gregory, Brian and Corren Witcomb; and great-grandchild, Jayden Witcomb. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday July 31, 2010 at Hector Cumberland Presbyterian with the Rev. Ottis Mackey officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is from 6:30-8:30 PM Friday.
