Billy “David” Reed, 58, of Pottsville died Friday, November 6, 2009, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1951, in Hanford, California to Billy and Lavera Reed. He was a heavy equipment operator for Duffield Gravel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lavera Reed, and brother, Gary Reed. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Christina Reed; father, Billy Reed; children, Michael Reed and wife Diana, Sherry Reed, Charles Reed, Alan Reed and wife Maranda, James Reed and wife, Angie; 16 grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Edgar Gene Horn, Katy and Lenny Rhea, Lulu and Terry Davis, Sissy and Bill Madruga; two brothers, Terry Reed and wife, Janis, and Tommy Reed and wife, Crystal. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM Monday at Bells Chapel Cemetery, the Rev. Bob Branch officiating. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday at Lemley Funeral Service.
