Blossom Lorene Armsteadt, 83, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Atkins Care Center. She was born in Newton County, to Clarence and Bessie Campbell Burks. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Claud Odell Millsap and Henry Armsteadt; son, Dean Millsap; daughter, Carol Willfond; grandchildren, Kesiha Millsap, Adam Willfond, and James Lee Mashburn. She is survived by her Children, Johnny Millsap and wife Barbara, James Millsap and wife Becky, Mary Freeman, Linda Kinslow, Darlene Mullins and husband Travis, Louise Whisenhunt and husband John, Janice Willfond and husband Pete; 2 brothers, Ferris Burks and Joe Burks; 3 sisters, Marie McNich, Shirley Holt, Bernice Stone; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Darwin Barnhouse officiating. Burial is in Hartman City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers will be J.J. Willfond, Lee Mashburn, Shawn Hickey, Brad Millsap, Wayne Herring, Rodney Herring,Jimmy Millsap.
