Bobby Lynn Goates, 52, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born January 15, 1963, in Russellville, son of the late Floyd “Pops” Goates and Ruby Goates Clemons. He loved stock car racing, 4 wheeling and anything outdoors. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ruby Goates Clemons and husband Warner of Pottsville; daughter, Misty Oakes and husband Ron of Lamar; granddaughters, Alexis and Taylor Oakes of Lamar; brother, James McAlister of Dover. Graveside services and burial is 10:00 AM, Friday, July 10, at Pollard Cemetery with Pastor Bill Hampton and Ben Bachman officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday. Pallbearers are Kenny Summers, Tommy New, Randall Standridge, Josh Standridge, Josh Garrigus, Shannon Young, Mike Parrish.
