Brenda Robertson

Brenda Joyce Robertson, 69, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, surrounded by family at their home. She was born June 10, 1943, in Russellville, the daughter of E.R. and Virginia Bowden Jones. She was preceded in death by her mother and a niece, Melissa Clark. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike Robertson; father, E.R. Jones and wife Peggy; 2 sisters, Zettie and husband Bob Holland, and Gail and husband Bill Clark; son, Keith Robertson and wife Roberta; special granddaughter whom she raised as her own, Whitley and husband Albert Martin; 4 grandchildren, Hope Moore, Paige Moore, Justin Smith and Kayla Robertson; 2 step-sisters, Carol and husband Wayne Brock and Kathy and husband Sam Davis; 2 dogs, Roxie and Jola; several nieces and nephews; her work family of 47 years at Tyson; and numerous friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 26, at Pottsville First Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Huffman officiating. Private burial in Bowden Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Carol Townsend and Dr. Tom Sneed.
