Carlton Thomas

Carlton M. (Tolly) Thomas, 77, of Jerusalem, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at his home. He was born August 17, 1934 the son of Ira and Iva Gilbert Thomas. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 473 in Cleveland and of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Kay L. Adams Thomas; a son, David Thomas; and 2 brothers, Bill Thomas and Louis Thomas. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and James Holt of Jerusalem; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Thomas of Lanty and Scott and Cindy Thomas of Palmer, Alaska; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Stroud of Jerusalem; a brother and sister-in-law, Ira Thomas, Jr. and wife Pauline of Jerusalem; and numerous special nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Friday at Lemley Chapel with Scott Roderick officiating. Burial is in Cedar Creek Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation will be held from 7-8:00 PM Thursday. Pallbearers are Josh Holt, Jeff Holt, David Thomas, Timothy Thomas, John Thomas and Tom Thomas.
