Carol Jean Duvall, 69, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born December 18, 1948, in Russellville, daughter of the late Harry and Goldie Rudder Bowman. She was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 47 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wayne “Possum” Duvall; 4 children, Sandi and husband Robert McFarland, Jamey Duvall and wife Debie, Ellen and husband T.J. Turney, Alfie Duvall and wife Amy; 2 brothers, Virgil Bowman and wife Modean, and James Stacy and wife Trudy; sisters, Ruby and husband Doug Hottinger, and Janet Goodwater and husband Dan; 18 grandchildren, Cassie, Lacie, Paul, John, Aaron, Anthony, Alex, Chase, Cody, Eric, Brittany, Keegan, Monty, Katie, Grady, Sawyer, Kaiden, and Tyler; 18 great-grandchildren; honorary granddaughter, Whit; many nieces, nephews, and close friends; and very close friends, Carl Apple and wife Wanda.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 12, at Lemley Chapel with Bill Shell officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday, at Lemley’s.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. A granddaughter will serve as honorary pallbearer.
