Cassy Nicole Alexander-Osborn

Cassy Nicole Alexander-Osborn, 24, of Russellville, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at her home. She was born August 3, 1986, in Russellville, the daughter of James “Buddy” and Marilyn Alexander. Cassy attended Pottsville Schools and graduated in 2005. She attended two semesters at UACCM. She married the love of her life, Joey Osborn, on November 28, 2009, and then had her little angel, Taylor Sue, who she said was “the best thing I’ve ever done.” She attended First United Pentecostal Church in Russellville and Atkins United Pentecostal. Cassy was an awesome mother, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, grand-daughter, great-granddaughter and friend. She saw the best in everyone and was always kind and giving. “Our daughter was taken from us suddenly and without warning, but her father and I give all the glory to God because he shared her precious life with us. ‘Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed.’” She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Alvin and Mae Holland, Oscar and Tressie Chronister, and James Alexander; and her grandfather, Ted Rustad. She is survived by her parents; her husband, Joey Osborn; a daughter, Taylor Sue Osborn; four brothers, Justin and wife Sara Alexander, Daniel Alexander, Derrick Alexander and Dustin Alexander; three sisters, Megan and husband Aron Millsaps, Jessica and husband Dustin Curtis, and Amanda Hall-Alexander; grandparents, Jay and Peggy Alexander and Beulah Rustad; great-grandparents, Theresa Alexander; two nieces, Sydnie Millsaps and Shelby Alexander; and a nephew, Ethan Alexander. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Russellville First United Pentecostal Church, the Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Pallbearers are James “Buddy” Alexander, Aron Millsaps, Dustin Curtis, Justin Alexander, Andy Holt and Chris Alexander. Honorary pallbearers are Megan Millsaps, Jessica Curtis, Marilyn Alexander, Kit Kitterman, Shane Holland, Bobby Bower, Cathy Bower and Bobby Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cassy Alexander-Osborn Fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O. Box 126, Atkins, AR 72823.
