Cathryn “Sis” McNutt, 85, of Atkins left Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Atkins Nursing Center to join her family circle of George and Rosalee Harris Whittenburg; sisters, Alyne Whittenburg, Ruth Whittenburg Darter; brother, William Whittenburg, who was killed in WWII in France; infant son, James Wesley; and her husband, Buck McNutt. Sis is survived by two daughters, Janice and husband Ronnie Brashear of Fayetteville and Kathy and husband Jerry Duvall of Hattieville; son, Jim and wife Charlotte McNutt of Atkins; 6 grandchildren, Kim Duvall of Little Rock, Kelly and wife Tracy Duvall of Hattieville, Jeremy and wife Jayme Duvall of Hattieville, Amy Brashear and Alex Brashear of Fayetteville, and Alicia McNutt of Atkins; 4 great-grandchildren, Taylor Duvall, Kolton Duvall, Brooke Duvall and Payton Duvall; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Jackson Andrews and Kayson Duvall. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 16 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Jim McNutt and Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday. Pallbearers are Bobby Fillion, Jerry Whittenburg, Jerry Duvall, Jeremy Duvall, Kelly Duvall, Danny Duvall, Ronnie Brashear, Alex Brashear and Tim Whittenburg.
