Charles Harrison Petty, 82, of Russellville, passed away March 13, 2014, at Johnson Co. Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. He was born October 9, 1931, in Bisco, Arkansas, son of the late Rueben H. and Edna Devine Petty. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe, Earl and Hilary Petty; sisters, Genice Dollar, Irene Ramsey, and Jean Cumberson; son, Rickey Petty; and a grandson, Jason Charles Petty. Survivors include his wife, Alice Carolyn Campbell Petty of the home; children and spouses, Judy Barker of Russellville, Mike and Mary Petty of Dover, Joy and Bill Duvall of Paris, Terry and Brenda Petty of Russellville, Kelly and Clayton Witt of Centerville, and Jeff and Wendy Petty of Atkins; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, LouAnn and Andy Lee of Alabama, and brothers and sister-in-laws, Ewell Petty of Little Rock, Dewayne and Bonnie Petty of Atkins, Doug and Judy Petty of Dover, Rayburn Petty of Benton, and Boyce and Betty Petty of Russellville. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Monday, March 17, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial is in Bells Chapel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday. Pallbearers are Chuck Petty, Raymond Petty, Jacob Barber, Ryan Ramsey, Holten Lee and Jason Snyder. Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Petty and Wyatt Halsted.
