Charlotte Woodard, 85, of Atkins died Thursday, September 4, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born November 28, 1922, in Moffett, Oklahoma, daughter of James H. and Lillie Edwards Romine. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Woodard, her parents and a brother, Bill Romine. She was a dedicated member of the Atkins First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her son; James E. Messick of Atkins, daughter, Barbara L. Lewis of Chicago, Illinois, brothers, Bobby Gene Romine and Nathan Romine both of Moreland, and sister, Louise Rone of Independence, Missouri. Funeral service is 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the Atkins First Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Bill Caldwell officiating. Burial is in Atkins Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Lemley Funeral Home.
